Record High! WPG (TWSE:3702) Reports August 2018 Consolidated Sales of NT$51.81 Billion, Better than Expectation

Contributed from steady growth in core products such as 3C and automotives, and benefited from successful deployment in new applications such as Internet of Things(IoT), Artificial Intelligence(AI), cloud storage and high-performance computing, also benefited from double-digit growth in revenue of North America, WPG, the largest distributor of semiconductor components in Asia announces its record high in August 2018 consolidated sales of NT$51.81 billion, a 5.1% increase over previous month’s NT$49.3 billion and a 4.6% increase over previous year’s NT$49.51 billion, better than expectation. Ytd consolidated sales of 2018 was NT$364.05 billion, a 6.2% increase over previous year’s NT$342.79 billion, while a 8.8% increase in US dollars.
