WPG (TWSE:3702) Reports June 2018 Sales of NT$44.37 Billion; YTD Consolidated Sales Reaches NT$262.94 Billion, +6.3% YoY.

Benefited from growing shipments of 3C, automotives, new applications such as Internet of Things(IoT), Artificial Intelligence(AI), cloud storage and high-performance computing and passive components, WPG, the largest distributor of semiconductor components in Asia, announces its June 2018 consolidated sales of NT$44.37 billion. Second quarter consolidated sales was NT$139.53 billion, reached high side of forecast NT$140 billion, represented 13.1% increase over previous quarter’s NT$123.41 billion and 8.8% increase over previous year’s NT$128.28 billion, while a 10.6% increase year over year in US dollars. YTD consolidated sales was NT$262.94 billion, a 6.3% increase over previous year’s NT$247.38 billion, while a 10.3% increase in US dollars.
