Benefitted from increaseddemand from emerging markets such as China, India and Indonesia combined with increasing new 3G subscribers to push the sales of smartphone increasing rapidly,WPG, the largest distributor of semiconductor components in Asia, reported July 2012 consolidated sales ofNT$31.2billion, a 6.4% increase over previous month’s 29.29 billion and a 9% increase over previous year’s 28.62 billion; YTD consolidated sales of 2012 reached NT$203.02billion, a 6.3% increase over 2011’s NT$190.94billion.

The sales breakdowns by regions of WPG are 76% from China (incl. HK), 16% from Taiwan, 6% from ASEAN and 2% from others.
