Record High! WPG (3702 TT) Reports Second Quarter Consolidated Sales of 2014 Reaches NT$113.64 Billion, +11% QoQ, exceeds expectations. YTD Consolidated Sales of 2014 Reaches NT$216.05 Billion, +15.4% YoY.

Benefited from increased demand of emerging markets combined with growing shipments of low-end smart phone, tablet ,cloud computing and consumer electronics, WPG, the largest distributor of semiconductor components in Asia, reported June 2014 consolidated sales of NT$37.02 billion, a 18% increase over previous year’s NT$31.37 billion. Second Quarter consolidated sales of 2014 were NT$113.64 billion, exceeds high side of the second quarter’s NT$105~110 billion guidance ,represented 11% increase over previous year’s NT$102.4 billion and also set the group’s quarterly sales record. YTD consolidated sales of 2014 were NT$216.05 billion, represented 15.4% increase over previous year’s NT$187.23 billion.

The sales breakdowns by regions are 81% from China (incl. HK), 10% from Taiwan, 6% from ASEAN and 3% from others.
