WPG (3702 TT) Reports May 2014 Consolidated Sales of NT$37.25 Billion, +7.3% YoY; Ytd Consolidated Sales of 2014 is NT$179.03 Billion, +14.9% YoY.

Benefited from increased demand and growing shipments of low-end smart phone, tablet ,cloud computing and consumer electronics, WPG, the largest distributor of semiconductor components in Asia, reported May 2014 consolidated sales of NT$37.25 billion, a 7.3% increase over previous year’s NT$34.7 billion. YTD consolidated sales of 2014 were NT$179.03 billion, represented 14.9% increase over previous year’s NT$155.86 billion.

The sales breakdowns by regions are 83% from China (incl. HK), 9% from Taiwan, 6% from ASEAN and 2% from others.
