WPG (3702 TT) Reports April 2014 Consolidated Sales of NT$39.38 Billion, +13.9% YoY, Set its Monthly Record; Ytd Consolidated Sales of 2014 Reaches NT$141.78 Billion, +17% YoY.

Benefited from increased demand and growing shipments of smart phone, tablet ,cloud computing and consumer electronics, WPG, the largest distributor of semiconductor components in Asia, reported April 2014 consolidated sales of NT$39.38 billion, a 13.9% increase over previous year’s NT$34.58 billion, and also set the groups monthly sales record, in line with expectation. YTD consolidated sales of 2014 were NT$141.78 billion, represented 17% increase over previous year’s NT$121.15 billion.

The sales breakdowns by regions are 82% from China (incl. HK), 11% from Taiwan, 5% from ASEAN and 2% from others.
