WPG (3702 TT) announces its subsidiary to acquire Long-Think group’s PEMCOcomponents business in cash

WPG (3702 TT) announced that the board of directors of itssub-group, World Peace Industrial Co, Ltd., resolved to have its subcompany,Longview Technology Inc,acquiringLong-Think group’sPEMCOcomponents business in cash. The acquisition will enhance WPG’s business coverage of PEMCO components in greater China area.

Long-Think group was established in Taiwan in 1990with recent annual revenue of NT$1.6 billion and approximately 60 employees. The group mainly distributes Molex’s connectors and interconnect components in greater China.

Through WPG’sAsia-Pacific product marketing, technical support, back-end services and logistics platform, the scale of newly acquired business will be expanded. In the meantime, the new business will also enhance WPG’sone stop shopping service and competitive position across the region, delivering more superior value to our customers.
