WPG (3702 TT) Reports February 2014 Consolidated Sales of NT$30.54 Billion, +42.4% YoY; YTD Consolidated Sales of 2014 Reaches NT$63.76 Billion, +19.1% YoY.

Benefited from increased demand and growing shipments of smart phone, tablet and cloud computing, combined with Chinese New Year hot season and booming e-commerce, WPG, the largest distributor of semiconductor components in Asia, reported February 2014 consolidated sales of NT$30.54 billion, a 42.4% increase over previous year’s NT$21.44 billion, in line with expectation. YTD consolidated sales of 2014 were NT$63.76 billion, represented 19.1% increase over previous year’s NT$53.55 billion.

The sales breakdowns by regions are 80% from China (incl. HK), 11% from Taiwan, 7% from ASEAN and 2% from others.
