WPG (3702 TT) Reports August 2013 Consolidated Sales of NT$ 35.66 Billion, +10.9% YoY, Set Its Monthly Record; YTD Consolidated Sales of 2013 Reaches NT$257.07 Billion, +9.3% YoY.

Benefitted from increased demand of emerging markets and increased sales of smart phone and tablet, WPG, the largest distributor of semiconductor components in Asia, reported August 2013 consolidated sales of NT$35.66 billion, a 10.9% increase over previous year’s 32.16billion, and also set the groups monthly sales record. YTD Consolidated sales of 2013 were NT$257.07 billion, represented 9.3% increase over previous year’s NT$235.18 billion.

The sales breakdowns by regions are 79% from China (incl. HK), 14% from Taiwan, 5% from ASEAN and 2% from others.
