Semiconductor Distributor - WPG (TSE:3702) Announces EPS of NT$ 0.90 per share for the month ended Apr. 30, 2007, an 88% Y/Y increase

For the sales growth of handset-related, wireless and consumer electronic components in China market, WPG announced Apr. 07 consolidated sales of NT$11.334 billion, a 4% M/M increase, and year-to-date consolidated sales was 39.644 billion, a 5% Y/Y increase. Year-to-date consolidated gross margin was 6.15%, surpassed the prior expectation, 6%. Year-to-date consolidated operating margin was 2.66%. As of Apr. 30, 07, consolidated profit after tax was NT$606 million, and EPS was TW$ 0.90, based on ending balance of shares. Net value per share was TW$19.31.
